We represented the Agriculture and Food Authority in constitutional Petition by Edible Oils Products Limited and 10 Others Vs Agriculture and Food Authority & 3 Others, where the Petitioners sought conservatory orders restraining AFA and other Respondents from further implementation, administration, application and/or enforcement of section 18 of the crops act 2013, regulations 8 & 29 in the third schedule, 30, 34 & 35 of the crops (nuts and oil) regulations 2020 pending the hearing and determination of the Petition. If the Petition succeeded, AFA would have lost the mandate to implement the regulations.
